Welcome the arrival of 2024 with a Spanish and African vibe by joining us for a sail around the famous Straits of Gibraltar taking in the sights and excitement of Spain and Morrocco.

Escape the dull days between Christmas and New Year. Fill your lungs with fresh sea air, relish sailing along a breathtaking scenic coastline and enjoy tapas, tagines and more in an evening. There'll be plenty of opportunities to capture Instagram-worthy moments!

You can be involved in the actual sailing during the day…or not! It’s your choice. Our professional skippers can introduce you to sailing or help you develop your existing skills. This trip is not just about New Year – it’s about sailing and New Year!

Locations we could explore include Gibraltar itself, La Linea and La Duquesa in Spain, Tangier and Smir in Morrocco and Ceuta; the Spanish enclave within Morrocco. This is a fabulous opportunity to sail between the continents of Europe and Africa.

We’ll sail where the wind and tide takes us but plan to spend New Years Eve in Ceuta enjoying a heady mix of Spanish and Moroccan culture. To make sure you get the best luck in 2024 you’ll need to be wearing red underwear and eat 12 grapes; 1 on each clock bell strikes at midnight on December 31st.

How to book:

It's easy!  Complete your details on our secure online booking system.  A 25% deposit is all that's needed, with the balance payable 30 days before the New Year event.

Extending your stay:

If you'd like more time to explore Gibraltar and Spain or maybe catch a cheaper return flight, it is possible to stay onboard the yacht after the event for £50 per night. Please make your booking and then contact us to organise.

Flights & Transfers:

Flights

Fly directly to and from Gibraltar (GIB) from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Bristol.

Alternatively Malaga (AGP) and Seville (SVQ) offer plenty of inbound and outbound flight options.

Transfers

Queensway Quay Marina (QQM) is a short walk from Gibraltar Airport. The 5/10 Frontier bus runs from near the airport past Queensway Quay Marina for less than £2 or a taxi from the airport will cost approximately £12.

Direct buses regularly run from Malaga Airport to La Línea de la Concepción, the Spanish town that borders Gibraltar, for €15-€20. A four seater taxi to La Linea costs approximately €130.
