Our Favourite Yachting Magazines
If you sail you’ve probably browsed the magazine shelves at your local newsagent, airport or train station.
Yachting magazines are a great way to learn how to sail, increase your knowledge and keep up with the latest industry developments and yachting news.
The choice of yachting magazines is wide and here are our five favourites;
Yachting World
Yachting World is probably most aimed at racer-types and covers all the big ocean races, such as the Volvo Ocean Race, and the America’s Cup. They also cover kit reviews and as well as a subscription magazine, they also offer a digital edition.
Yachting Monthly
Aimed largely at the British yachtie, the magazine follows cruising and coastal sailing although it also reports on sail racing and gear reviews.
Sailing Today
Sailing Today is the magazine for hands-on cruising sailors whose love of sailing takes them around the British Isles, across the Channel and beyond.
Yachts & Yachting
Yachts and Yachting is a worldwide magazine that includes reporting on local racing and events and also hosts forums. The website also have a classified ads section.
Practical Boat Owner
The Practical Boat Owner magazine is for ‘hands on’ types. Boat owners, as the name suggests, rather than crew or dreamers. The magazine covers tips and tricks, cruising and marina guides.
